The One Wish Team
Co-Creator & Executive Director
Joseph is a self proclaimed 'Jewish Persian Cowboy.' Born in Dallas, Texas to Iranian immigrants, he has lived most of his adult life in Los Angeles, California where he graduated from UCLA with a BA in Sociology. Joseph spent many years working in the entertainment industry as an editor, producer and research manager for Fox Sports, TMZ, AOL, DIRECTV and OTX-IPSOS.
In 2011, he left LA to study at The Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem where he created the One Wish Project. An award winning documentary film and education project that seeks to create a more unified and connected world by giving voice to the marginalized individuals we have come to think of as “other.” He is also pursuing his Rabbinical ordination and Masters of Arts in Education at American Jewish University.
Co-Creator & Director of Creative Content
Jeff is an accomplished cinematographer, activist and entrepreneur. Raised in Los Angeles, he has traveled and lived all over the world, from Guadalajara to Jerusalem. He began making films when he was 12, and by the time he was 18, he had produced over 20 award-winning films. In 2007 Jeff graduated from Boston University with a BS in Communications & Cinematography.
From 2008 to the present Jeff has lived in Israel off and on where he worked on nearly 10 films, including the first two award winning 'One Wish' films. His work as Director of Operations of the One Wish Project has helped lay the groundwork for One Wish Project into the burgeoning organization it has become.
